This is the image of Wales that the overwhelmingly charming and friendly people of Wales would not like to be associated with. A car park attendant at the Snowdonia Mountain Railway station at the town of Llanberis has taken upon himself to give a piece of his mind to anyone who stopped at the entrance. I stopped and watched him repeat the tirade at around a dozen families driving through telling them that anyone who visited Wales without making advance bookings for facilities were "thick" "didn't use their brain" and "shouldn't be coming" in the first place. For group of families like us who were out an about enjoying a beautiful summer day in the stunning Snowdonia this was the low point of the day.
If you are visiting Snowdonia do visit the beautiful town of Llanberis and go and say hello to the rudest Welsh person alive (the only one if you go by my exerperience) at the car park entrance to Snowdon Mountain Railway.
